Click the button “Reserve” on the book’s bibliographic record on the catalogue and then follow the instructions that will appear to reserve the same.

No! You are not allowed to borrow a computer from the Information Center. Please feel free to use the computers on MyLab when you need them.
You can borrow language and law dictionaries from the Loan Counter at the Information Center for 4 hours.
The printed books available in the Information Center are available in alphabetical order with LC classification system in the Hall no. 2 and 3. You can find a printed book you are looking for on the respective shelves by learning the placement number thereof from the scanning computers on the front counter and the reference desk in the Hall no 2. Please ask for help from the librarian on the Reference desk or the counter if you could not find it.
If the book you are looking for is not available on the shelves although it is not borrowed by someone else, then it may be on the interior shelves in the Hall no.2 or currently used by another user. Feel free to apply to the librarian on the Reference desk for your questions.

A delay penalty of TL 2 per day for those sources borrowed from the Book collection and a delay penalty of TL 1 for those sources borrowed from the Reserved collection will apply.
You can borrow an unlimited number of sources from the Book Collection and 5 sources concurrently from the Reserved Collection in the Information Center.
Pursuant to the license agreements with the respective publishers or providers and as per the copyrights, you can download the entirety or certain sections of the electronic books in the format of PDF or EBUP.

It takes about 7-10 business days for a book purchased abroad and 4-6 weeks for a book purchased abroad.

There is no photocopier available in the Information Center. Please feel free to use Hascopy in AmphitheatreGarden for your photocopy needs.
You are not allowed to photocopy more than 10% of a book for the protection of the respective copyrights.
For those articles and theses not available in our collection, please consider the Inter Library Loan (ILL) method on the Inter Library Cooperation Tracking System (KITS) or the Turkey Document Provision System (TUBESS). Sign on the Information Center with your account credentials to submit your requests completing the Inter Library Loan Form.
KHAS members may request for the purchase of a publication not available on the collections of the Information Center in connection with their education-training and research activities. Before submitting a request, please check from the Online Catalogue to make sure that the source you are looking for is not available in the collections of the Information Center. You can submit your requests completing apublication request form on your account with the Information Center.
The Information Center are open from 08.30 to 22.00 on weekdays and from 10:00 to 20:00 on weekends. 1. The hall is open all the time and all the halls are open at 24/7 during the exam periods. For the current operating hours please click here.

At the Information Center, the students are able to connect to the Internet over the KHAS-Student network using the student number and unique password, and the non-student users over the KHAS-Guest network using the cod sent to their phones.
An academic person from another university, upon the presentation of their valid university id cards, and a master’s degree/doctoral student of another university, upon the booking at least two business days beforehand, are allowed make use of the Information Center on site once a month during the operating hours on weekdays (08:30 – 22:00). The Information Center accepts donations of books. The sources granted and gifted to the Information Center (books, magazines, DVDs etc.) are assessed and accepted pursuant to the Collection Development Policy. Those books donated are accepted if they are not already available in the collections. If a donated book is already available in the library, then it is sent to those libraries in need of that book.
