The Information Center operates to support the education and research programs at Kadir Has University, meet the requirements to access information and sources of information, and provide a comfortable environment for research. It is the responsibility of all the members to act in cooperation with the Information Center and respect other members.

Hall 1

• Low-volume conversations that do not disturb others are allowed in the room located at the entrance of the Information Center.

• The work desks in this area are designed for group work for 2-4 and 5 people.

• Cell phones should be kept silent in all rooms, and phone conversations should be taken outside the room.

• We expect you to collaborate with the Information Center team who reminds you of the rules.

Hall 2 and Hall 3

• Only individual work can be done in the 2nd and 3rd rooms where our printed book collections are also located.

• The work desks and squares in this area are not suitable for group work. Please pay attention to the capacity and usage rules on the tables.

• Cell phones should be kept silent, and phone conversations should not be made.

In addition, we expect all users to be careful and collaborate with the Information Center team in the following matters:

• Speak quietly as much as possible in the Information Center areas.

• Do not use cell phones.

• Use hot or cold drinks with only safe containers (personal thermos) to avoid spilling.

• Keep the work areas clean and leave them clean (do not leave trash on the table).

• Do not damage the materials and equipment in the Information Center.

• Do not reserve space for personal belongings in the Information Center. The Information Center rooms are checked every 15 minutes. The working areas that are determined to be reserved will be made available for other students’ use if they remain empty for more than 30 minutes.

We hope that all library users will behave as stated above and contribute to creating an environment that will help productive work and research activities for everyone on campus.
