We’re happy to share our Information Center resources with the immediate family members of our KHAS community! We believe that everyone should have access to information, and we’re excited to extend our services to you.
To make sure everyone has a positive experience, we have a few simple guidelines:
Who can use the library?
- KHAS Members: Faculty, staff, and students of Kadir Has University.
- Immediate Family: Spouses, children, and parents of KHAS members.
What can you do at the Information Center?
- Use our resources: Feel free to read books, journals, newspapers, and use our electronic databases.
- Borrow books and more: You can check out books, magazines, and DVDs.
- Access online resources: You can use our online resources by making an appointment.
How do you sign up?
- It’s easy! Just apply for a “Family Member IC Card”.
- You’ll need to bring a document that shows your relationship to the KHAS member (like a marriage certificate or birth certificate) and their ID information.
What are the rules for borrowing?
- You can borrow books, magazines, and DVDs for 30 days. Need more time? You can renew them once.
- Please return your items on time. If you’re late, there may be a small fee.
- Remember that you’re responsible for lost or damaged items and will need to pay for them.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Please be considerate of others and keep the library quiet.
- Food and drinks are only allowed in designated areas.
- Remember to silence your cell phone.
- Please take good care of our resources.
Don’t forget:
- These guidelines may be updated by the Information Center Advisory Board. You can stay up-to-date by checking the Information Center website.
- If you have any questions or suggestions, our Information Center staff is always happy to help!
