The Information Center develops policies and practices intended to ensure that the members of Kadir Has University are able to make use of the collections of the Information Center equally and efficiently for the performance of their education and research activities.
The members of Kadir Has University are allowed to borrow the resources available in the collections of the Information Center for certain periods, and extend the time thereof depending on the material type.

The sources borrowed by a member may be recalled before the last return date in order to be added to the Reserve Collection or due to the fact that another member needs it immediately.
A Student Reserve source with two or more copies may be borrowed for longer periods (1, 2 or 3 days) depending on the intensity of use thereof.
The providing library’s rules apply to the determination the period to loan the certain sources that are temporarily provided from other libraries within the scope of the Inter Library Loan. Any request for the time extension of the sources made available under the scope of this service should be addressed to ic.ill@khas.edu.tr.
Lost and Damaged Sources of Information
In case a printed source borrowed is lost or damages, then the current price + processing charge for the said source is to be collected from the respective user.
The calculation of the price of a source of information lost or damages is based on the current list price of the respective providers. The price of a source that is no longer printed is identified after research is made across the respective providers. The processing charge is TL 30 (for 2022).
The user’s right to make use of the loan services is suspended until the price of the source of information lost/damaged is collected.
