Responsible and Ethical Use
The use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools requires not only technical competency but also a high sense of ethical responsibility. Our core vision at GenAI-HUB is to ensure the solution-oriented integration of these innovative technologies within the framework of academic integrity, transparency, and data security.
Our Core Ethical Principles
-
Academic Integrity and Transparency: GenAI tools should be positioned as a “supporting assistant,” not an “author.” The scope of use of these tools must be clearly stated in your work, and academic originality must be preserved.
-
Protection of Personal Data and Privacy: When interacting with AI models, you must avoid uploading personal data, private information belonging to others, unpublished research data, or documents containing institutional confidentiality. It should be noted that data shared in open models can be used to train the model and poses a risk of data leakage.
-
Critical Verification: The risk of GenAI outputs “hallucinating” (generating false information) should be taken into consideration; any information obtained must be verified through library resources and reliable academic databases.
-
Human-Centric Oversight: AI is a tool, and the researcher is the conductor of this tool. The final accuracy, ethics, and responsibility of the generated content rest entirely under the user’s control.
