New Academic Year, New Tool: Discover Lean Library

Esteemed Members of Kadir Has University,

In the 2025–2026 Academic Year, our support for your education, teaching, and research processes continues.

As we begin the new academic term, we are pleased to share that Lean Library access has been launched to make it easier for you to access resources and to make your research processes more efficient.

Lean Library is a browser extension you can add to your internet browser. This tool helps you access subscribed resources more quickly and seamlessly, especially when you are browsing off-campus.

What Does Lean Library Offer You?

• Seamless Access: While searching for resources or visiting a publisher’s site, it automatically recognizes alternatives accessible through the Information Center and directs you straight to the full text.
• Smart Redirects: If we do not have access to a resource, Lean Library offers you open access alternatives or directs you to the “Request from the Information Center” option.
• Easy Search: You can select a word in your browser, right-click, and use the “Search KHAS-IC” feature.
• Time Saving: It reduces the time spent searching for the right resources, allowing you to focus more on your research.

How to Get Started?

1. Download the Lean Library extension for your browser from here.
2. During installation, select “Kadir Has University.”
3. You’re all set! You can now continue your research with Lean Library support.
