Acceptance of Requests:
ILL and Document Supply requests are only accepted through the Interlibrary Cooperation Tracking System (KITS).
Loan: For KITS member University Libraries/Information Centers,
• Any number of printed books they request for a period of 30 days,
• Any number of bound/unbound journals, DVDs, printed theses, and reference sources they request for a period of 10 days,
• If the copy number of the requested resource from the Reserve Collection is sufficient, it can be borrowed for a period of 10 days under ILL.
• If there is no reservation on the resource, its loan period can be renewed upon request. If necessary, the borrowed resource can be recalled before its usage period ends.
Loss/Damage/Delay:
In case the borrowed resource is lost, damaged, or returned late, the responsibility belongs to the borrowing library. Kadir Has University Information Center rules apply in such cases.
Extension/Recall:

Packaging/Shipment:
In accordance with our institution’s policy, all resources borrowed and loaned under ILL are delivered to the courier company in packaging such as foam envelope/durable box to protect against possible risks during transportation. We kindly request our stakeholders to show the necessary care.
The responsibility for the package remains with the sending institution until it is received by the receiving institution.
Our university has an agreement with MNG Cargo. Please send your shipments that will be paid by us with MNG Cargo by adding the agreement code 239595260.
