English Prep Students: Keep Calm and Start Reading
Dear Prep School Students,
There will be a Reading & Writing Competition held among School of Foreign Languages students. You are all welcome to take part in the competition. All you need to do is choose 2 readers appropriate for your level. The books are all available at Khas Cibali Information Center (Library) - Prep School collection. Use your imagination and creativity to write about what you have read.

Keep Calm and Start Reading!
Here are the rules and conditions to take part in the competition:
>> Select at least two readers in your own level and click here fill in this online form.
A1/A2 students-A2 readers
A2/B1 students B1 readers
B1/B2 students-B2 readers
P students- Advanced Readers.
* All the readers are available at Khas Information Center (Library) - Prep School collection.
>> Complete the online application form: bit.ly/KhasPrepCompetition
>> You will receive e-mail about your application.
>> Read the books of your choice and write compositions on the following topics:
1-) Choose two characters (each from a different book you read) and write about the similarities and the differences between them. You may want to compare their appearance, characters, life situation and choices they have made. (500-1000 words)
2-) Get creative and take on a role of a writer. Choose one of the books you read and write an alternative end to the story. You can start from any point of the plot you want. (500-1000 words)
>> Submit your compositions to [email protected] by 5 May 2017 Friday, 5 p.m. The results will be announced during the ceremony to be held on 12 May 2017 Friday.
